The Admission Policy is framed by the College Council. The Admissions are granted to the students to Govt. Murray College, Sialkot on the basis of merit. The admissions are granted by the Principal in SCIENCE and ARTS faculties on the recommendations of the Science and Arts Admission Committees, respectively. For M.A./M.Sc. Classes, the admissions are allowed by the Principal on the recommendations of The Board of Post-graduate Studies.
The Admissions are granted on the basis of academic record. Only merit is kept in view for allowing admissions. All Heads of the Departments will be responsible for B.S. 4 year programme and M.A/M.Sc. Admissions.
The Admission Policy is framed by The College Council in the light of instructions of the Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
Granting admission to GMC is the sole prerogative of the Principal, Govt Murray College, Sialkot, who is Head of the College Administration.
At the time of admissions to various classes, candidates seeking admission, are intimated through advertisements in the National Dailies. The admission to The Intermediate Classes is done on behalf of the BISE, Gujranwala. The students admitted to the College are registered with the BISE, Gujranwala. The Admissions of the Inter. students are governed by the rules and regulations of the BISE, Gujranwala.
B.S 4 Year Programme students are admitted for their registration with the University of Gujrat. M.A./M.Sc. Students’ admissions are governed by the Calender of the Punjab University, Lahore. At the time of admissions, the students are interviewed by the Admission Committee headed by the Principal.

Admission To The Intermediate Class
The admission to first year class is undertaken according to the schedule announced by the Gujranwala Board. Applications are invited by the College Admission Committees on the prescribed forms provided in the College Prospectus.
Applications properly fiiled in as per instructions given in the prospectus and accompanied by supporting documents must be submitted to the College Office and the receipt must be obtained to this effect on or before the last date, during the College hours. Tick out the faculy/discipline or the names of the subject in which you seek admission.
Requirements / Qualifications
The candidates seeking admissions to the intermediate class must have passed Matric or O’ Level examination from an institution recognized by the Government.
Private students are also considered for admission provided they have passed matric examination from any B.I.S.E located in Pakistan or from any other examination body recognized by the Education Department Govt. of Punjab or Govt. of Pakistan.

The application for the admission, complete in all respects, are to be submitted on the prescribed college form. Application must be submitted to the college office.

Admission To B.S 4 Years Hons. Course
The Admission to the Third year class is undertaken after the declaration of F.A/F.Sc results by the Education Boards of the Province of the Punjab, which come under the jurisdiction of the Punjab University; according to the schedule announced by the Punjab University. The applications form duly filled in and supported by requisite document must be submitted to the college office on or before the last date during college hours. Tick out the faculty discipline or the name of the subject in which admission is sought.
Requirements / Qualification
The candidates seeking admission to B.S hons. Class must have passed F.A / F.Sc or A’ Level examination from an institution recognized by the F.A examination from any B.I.S.E located in Pakistan or from any other examination body recognized by the Education Department Govt. of Punjab or Govt. of Pakistan.
